Write a Letter. Share Your Morrison Story.

Morrison YMCA means something different to everyone—a child’s first swim lesson, a friendship, support during a difficult season or a place where you belong.

Those experiences deserve to be heard by the people making decisions about Morrison’s future.

Coalition member Pat recently wrote to the YMCA Board Chair. Watch her video, then join her by writing your own letter to the CEO, Board Chair or individual Board members.

What should I write?

Introduce yourself and explain your connection to Morrison. Share a specific experience and describe what losing Morrison would mean for you, your family or the community.

State your opposition to the sale and ask leadership to pause, listen to the community and seriously consider alternatives that preserve Morrison.

Keep your letter personal, respectful and focused on your own experience. A few heartfelt paragraphs are enough.
